YUMMY! Acrobats of God can have my feet any day!

LOVE these! They are made from WOOD and ELASTIC, ah ya, and look how amazing they look!

Acrobats of God — are strappy with heels crafted from raw wood in four heights for summer and two for fall.

The footwear collection was created by Nicole Brundage, a Texas-born designer with an art-centric lineage (grandfather: famous sculptor in Mexico; uncle: prominent NYC gallerist; mother: avid collector of beautiful clothing) and a resume that includes stints at Giorgio Armani, Manolo Blahnik, and Zac Posen.

Brundage launched the brand last year and describes it as “a way of expressing the extraordinary in the ordinary.” Translation: Shoes might be something you wear every day, but these aren’t your everyday shoes.

Marry me, Quality Meats!

Let me start off by saying, YOU MUST EAT at Quality Meats! The food is TO DIE FOR and the staff/managers are a pure delight. We went here for my dad’s 73rd birthday and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The two manager’s Rayna and Ryan were so hands on and you guys deserve a huge raise (I’m serious to whoever the owners are, they were the best of the best)! You were truly fabulous and we couldn’t have asked for more. I think we tried almost half the menu (thank you Ryan) and can I just say that everything was a gift to my mouth, seriously… yummy to my tummy. My dad was so happy and this night truly made his birthday in New York so special, we can’t thank you enough.

Here is a list of literally all the things we had the pleasure of devouring:

The Royal Miyagi Oysters (west coast)

Pan Roasted Crispy Potatos

Parmesan Waffle Fries

Corn Cream Brule

Gnocchi and Cheese

Yorkshire Creamed Spinach

Crispy Artichoke

Skirt Steak w/Parmesan Waffle Fries

Ice Cream Cakes: Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pistachio, Strawberry Citrus something or other, the names weren’t given, the lovely staff at Quality Meats hooked us up amazingly!

Here we are with one of the most amazing managers ever, the lovely Rayna Greenberg.

Again, thank you so much Rayna and Ryan, this was one for the books!

Dinner @ Blue Ribbon Brasserie

Literally, this is possible one of the TOP THREE MEALS I have ever had! I had the Sweet & Spicy Catfish with Collard Greens and Mash Potato’s with Tarter Sauce and the oysters for an appetizer (oysters from the west coast were amazing) and Jesus, Mary & Joseph YUM, YUM, YUM! I have never had catfish in my life and never had the urge too and I am so glad I did, this dish was not at all too spicy, as in hot spicy, it was divine. Truly such a wonderful flavor that when I was finished I literally told the waiter I could eat that all over again right now. The collard greens were perfection and the mash was INSANE, perfect chunks of potato and whipped to fabulousness! I can’t wait to go back to Blue Ribbon again and take everyone I know with me!
