B-A-N-A-N-A BREAD, BOMB PEOPLE!

So, I had some older bananas and was bored and decided why the hell not try my hand at making some banana bread? Well, I did and it turned out AMAZING, so simple… have to try this at home people, recipe is below… sprinkled a little brown sugar on top (my own idea, hee hee) to add a nice crunchy/sweet topping and BAM! Deliciousness!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

FAT VS SKINNY.

Jeans that is.

They’re coming back ladies, the wide leg jeans, and super wide leg/bell bottom jeans are coming back, all over the runway… I’d definitely like to add some more back into my closet (bell bottoms for sure), but I do have a great deal of love for my skinny jeans, being that I LOVE knee high boots and over the knee boots (which aren’t going anywhere just yet) so the skinnies are going to have to stay for now.

So thoughts? Do we think they will over take the skinny leg jeans or what? Hmmm… I don’t think they are ready yet. I don’t think the wide legged jeans have the power at the moment to knock our lovely skinnies out of the box just quite yet.

LaDeeDah! Mad HATTER yes she is!

Can I first start off by saying, I officially LOVE this girl… LaDeeDah. Her brain is absolutely fabulous and by posting this I am officially revealing a tid bit about my Halloween Costume for this year, but screw it, she’s amazing. So like I was saying, I was researching for my costume on etsy.com, getting some inspiration from other people and came across Miss LaDeeDah and almost died! If only I could spend some more CHA CHING on my costume I would for sure have bought one of her pieces, but these are SHOW STOPPERS! SHOW STOPPERS PEOPLE! She makes hats, furniture, head band mini hats, etc.. I just had to post them so you could all just LOVE them as much as I do, they’re truly incredible.
