KICK FLIC of the WEEK.

So, the Olympics are in full swing and so are the collaborations, i.e. Adidas x Opening Ceremony. The sneakers are pretty fresh, very different from the typical Adidas Hi Top, which I am always a fan of. The color ways, the floral prints, the Hi Top Samba? Ah hello, I’m a life long soccer player and the Samba has always been a top Adidas fav, but I’ve never seen it as a hi top and I must say ooh la la I’m in love. The clear gum colored, rubber sole is ri-donk-u-lous, love, love, love it long time… plus the added splash of floral print on the classic 3-stripe, wow.

Thank you, thank you Adidas x Opening Ceremony for such a lovely and unique new look for Adidas, on some classics in some very non traditional versions.

A little retro for that a**… literally.

Ok, so I love me some summer time, I mean who doesn’t? So summer is in the midst of us here in Cali-for-ni-a at the moment, well the weather is teasing us I should say… but we’re getting there. So, being that the sun is shining waiting to bring in the heat, what are we thinking of all these latest high waisted bikinis and swimsuits? I’m kinda diggin’ em.

So, to test my desire, I started off with the tradition black bottoms from American Apparel… and I was shocked. The fit on the rump was quite to my liking. So, for all you bootylicious babes out there, I definitely would recommend trying these bottoms out if you’re feelin’ this new trend in swim suits.

The models below, of course minus the AA girls, don’t really do the suits justice… so sorry skinnies who always fit in e’rything… this cut of suit just might not be for you… unless you got some hip action going on… that is kinda a deal breaker with me and these suits, there needs to be some curvature going on in the booty-tang section of yo baaaaaady… just my opinion.

So what-da-ya-think? Should we give these high waisted numbers a yay or nay? I’m going with yay, because my butt loves em, loves em long time. If you don’t believe her… just ask.

smoochies,

~SheRocS rump.

Aline Weber by Giampaolo Sgura for Vogue Japan April 2012

Japan always seems to push the envelope just a LITTLE bit more than other countries when it comes to fashion and this April 2012 issue of Vogue is no different.

If you’re looking to add a little more Lady GaGa, GOLD (my personal fav), color, glitter, leopard, studs or some good ol’ fashion rock n’ roll, please look no further. These photographs by Giampaolo Sgura will make your little fashion heart sore. It is in fact an exceptional shoot and will have my creative heart strings tuggin’ for weeks to come.
