To Stuff or Not to Stuff?

UBIQ – Fatima Kitty

  $254.95

I’m not really sure how sold I am on all these stuffed animal so-to-speak sneakers. As my friends, family and fellow blog followers probably know, I am definitely into the more adventurous, colorful, fun side of fashion, but I don’t quite know what to do with these stuffed animal kicks, let alone pay $254.95 for them.

Love leopard, love pink, actually do like the white and black versions as well, I mean what girl at some point in time hasn’t liked Hello Kitty, or in UBIQ’s case, “Fatima Kitty“… I mean really, don’t lie ladies… this is actually kinda cute.

I think the outfit worn with this would have to be severely toned down and let these be the ‘statement’ pieces… but I feel like they may actually be growing on me. Jeremy Scott obviously the trend setter in this department with Adidas, but others are catching on my friend…who knew our childhood stuffed animal favs and their heads would wind up attached to our feet and rocked as a 2012 fashion accessory?

1/2” platform. Fabric upper and man made sole. Fits small. In between sizes should order up! Size US8 (EU 38) insole measures at 9 3/8 inches or 23.5cm. Each half size is 1/4 inch or 1/2cm difference.

UMPF.

Usually, I’m not a “flats” kinda girl… but I definitely am a LEOPARD and GOLD kinda girl and these puppies via Pixie Market are screaming my name.

They without fail add a whole bunch of layers and juxtaposition to any outfit (not paired will multiple animal print people), but they add texture and I’m always looking for pieces that add “umpf” to my outfits and daily style, these are “umpf” ladies… as well as a very classic shoe that will continue to get wear over and over again.

Let’s give our pumps, platforms, booties, wedges, and stilettos a little rest and get a little classy shall we?

MOTEL ROCKS.

MOTEL ROCKS really does in fact just that, ROCK

So, if you’re one of those, like myself, who loves a bold, awesome, bold & daring print, MOTEL ROCKS is the brand for you.

I’ve been following them for a while and have the most awesome leopard and b&w star print trouser-esq pants from them, I have literally worn them to death. If you haven’t seen them already the b&w striped print denim is probably their most infamous. They are countless numbers of blogs, editorials and trend setters.

MOTEL ROCKS are definitely worth a try (currently carrying some of their prints are: urbanoutfitters.com and lulus.com if you’re not trying to spend the international shipping costs and just try them out at first) but trust me you will eventually fall in LOVE because their prints are amazing and always pushing the fashion envelope which I so thoroughly adore.

Here is a look at some of their latest & greatest:

Now that’s a ‘Buh-DUNK-a-DUNK’.

Don’t get me wrong, I get it why dudes like them some booty… trust me the ladies we be liking some booty-tang too… but this right here is definitely a Buh-DUNK-a-DUNK in it’s rawest, most rare form. A creature of the wild so to speak… ANIMALISTIC.

I wanna hear you roar baby… just say it… say my name…

SheRocS…SheRocS…SheRocs…

Oh ya, I can get with it. Can you?

SHOE-A-CIDE

I must must have these, they are $205 buck-a-roos, but they are my absolute favorite color combo and just overall the bomb.

Sneakers have always been a favorite past time of mine and will continue to be forever and ever until I’m old, wrinkled and dead in a box. Sorry for being so morbid, but ladies even if you are a heel gal like myself, as I’m sure if you follow my blog you are already well aware of this addictive obsession I have, sneakers are just as fabulous. No they may not lift and lengthen, but they are such a great accessory as well as expression of one’s personality… and did I mention, I don’t know…. comfortable? Alas they are, and you need to add a few into your wardrobe for long walks, trecking around the city, or just to an fro.

Sneakers are easy & fab all at the same time and these Adidas Forum Mid’s are simply put, pure awesomeness without a doubt.

Go on ladies, throw your kicks on and get a movin’.

*Japanese retailer Chapter World will be receiving an exclusive colorway of the Forum Mid this month. The upper is made of black leather and pony hair with leopard all-over print, all sitting on a white/gum outer sole. The sneaker released October 1st 2011.

But oh how does my heart adore and deeply love leopard. I probably have some bit of leopard on somewhere on my body EVERYDAY. It’s just the most fabulous color, as usual the age ol’ debate, I do consider it a color. It just has a way of working it’s way into my wardrobe all the time and I just love it.

So HURRAY for Steve Madden and these absolutely phenomenal wedges, I hope the Shazzam’s are here to stay!
