WEEKLY SHOE-GASIM

Hello there little lovelies… I must say TOPSHOP is usually pretty on the money for me most of the time and these are just another 3 reasons why I will stay loyal to my little British heart throb.

The tangerine color is ridiculously bomb, great for summer, awesome transition into fall wardrobe with tights, wool socks, knee highs, etc… as well as the black w/gold and the nude, always great staples for any wardrobe. The ankle strap is just another sexy tidbit, that makes them that much more dope. I mean what kinda girl doesn’t love an ankle strap? Very flirtatious and the style and colors are ones that will last you more than just one season.

Now hmm… which pair do you buy? One? Or all three? Well, 3 is my favorite number after all… 🙂 🙂 🙂

BIG SMOOCHIES,

I’m so sad though, these only for big feet people, not us midgets and these kicks are my fav colors! Army Green and Orange!!!

Now, If only they would make DOPE ASS SNEAKERS (that are mens) in WOMAN’S sizes! Now would that be so difficult? Alas, yes it is… apparently we ladies always want some pink n shi*t, which I do not, only NEON Pink will suffice. So, I will sit here and wait, and wait for these to come in a mere size 4.5/5 so I can purchase them for myself.

Until then, shop away BIG FOOT.

WEEKLY SHOE-GASIM

These are pure summer awesomeness in a frickin’ fabulous orange sherbet platform. Oh please love me Loeffler Randall! (available this Spring) I would definitely be rockin’ these all summer every which way humanly possible. They are so delicious and the color is edible. This is a great look on all skin tones, corals, deep peaches, rusts, tend to look extra flattering on everyone, so why don’t we all say yes to this fab wedge little lovely and start saving, because let me tell you, they ain’t cheap. But great to keep in mind when preparing to shop summer trends & color palettes.

Enjoy!

Orange Herb Roasted Chicken: MAKE THIS

I made this the other night and wow… it’s really good, super easy, but as we all know (and if you don’t know you will), baking a whole chicken takes a good hour + so give yourself some time and don’t make this when you are STARVING, because you’ll be waiting a while. I added some red potatoes that I pre-grilled in a pan, seasoned with a little salt/pepper/rosemary + olive oil, let the brown (about 10 mins), then added them to the roasting pan with the chicken. AMAZING. enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (4 pound) whole chicken, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into 1 tablespoon sized pieces
  • 2 navel oranges, halved
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs fresh sage

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Pour the chicken broth into a small roasting pan, and set aside.
  2. Loosen the skin from the breasts and thighs of the chicken. Stuff the butter pieces evenly underneath the skin of the chicken, and place into the roasting pan. Squeeze the orange halves over the chicken, and stuff the orange halves into the chicken cavity. Tie the legs together with kitchen twine. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper to taste, then rub in the minced garlic. Drizzle the melted butter all over the chicken, then lay the herb sprigs onto the breast and around the legs.
  3. Cover the dish with aluminum foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and baste the chicken with the pan juices. Continue cooking until the chicken is no longer pink, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), 1 to 2 hours. Baste the chicken every 10 to 15 minutes after you uncover it. Once cooked, allow the chicken to rest out of the oven for 10 minutes before slicing.
